About us

The Harguns business has a long history beginning in a small village in the northern Indian state of the Punjab.

Katara Ram started producing sweets in his village for the local community. He taught his son’s Om Prakash Hargun and Mohan Lal Hargun the sweet making trade. They then moved to England and opened a sweet shop in Walsall.

Mohan Lal Hargun then continued with the shop and became very well established, not only for the local community in Walsall but in the surrounding towns and cities for the products and service it provided. Mohan Lal Hargun retired in 2001 and his son Sukhjiwan Hargun then became the new owner of Hargun Sweet Centre.

Mr Hargun is now working hard with his staff to further enhance the products; services provided and become known to people nationally. He has recently invested in a new production site to keep up with the demand of customer’s expectations. All of the staff working at Harguns strives to fulfil the customer’s needs, provide high quality merchandise and service.
